Do you want to be with someone more, less, or about equal in intelligence as yourself?

    The pair that either
    a) is happy fulfilling dominant and submissive roles for each other... or
    b) does not let this idea cross their minds.

I'd like someone to be at least equally intelligent.

Actually no, it's not really intelligence it's more "worldly" someone who isn't focused on the latest gossip or is obsessed with tv and it's trashy shows, I'd like a guy who can talk on a lot of subjects even just a little and is kewl with me not knowing all those subjects and is willing to teach me as I'd teach him on things he might not know about.

Actually, ya know what I want, I don't want some dumb bitch who thinks life is about the latest celebrity or trashy tv.

Ya know what, forget it, I'm asking to much!

If someone is equally or less intelligent than me, may one of the billions of lords have mercy on his soul.

They need to be close to equal.

If they are too low, then I steam roll them and get no fulfillment. If they are too far above me then I feel inadequet with nothing to offer.

At least equal, I'm pretty intelligent -if you were to judge me by my posts on RJ, you'd thought I was dumb, but I'm not ROFL- so I don't want someone superdumb. icon_cool.gif

Well, I think it more depends on what they do with their intelligence. If they are less intelligent than me but still eager to learn new things, that would be awesome. On the other hand, someone more intelligent that just places himself above everyone else wouldn't be attractive. I would be fine with any of the three choices as long as they had the other qualities I look for.

It doesn't matter to me, just as long as if they're not close minded icon_smile.gif

No definitely not. I have a thing for dumb guys. I hate to admit it but its true. Almost every guy I've ever fallen for has been kind of an airhead. But I think that in itself is a form of intelligence. I like guys who have their heads in the clouds because the view is nice up there and I'm looking for someone to take my hand and put my head in the clouds every once in a while.

I'll take someone more intelligent, who can keep me interested. As long as his heart is as big as his brain.

...and then, some brainy people are completely against relationships, or bad at them. Just any other demographic, I think.

Equally or more. I've always liked the idea of my guy and I staring intensely at chalkboard trying to solve a problem.

I see it this way; there are different kinds of intelligence, some to do with the heart, and some to do with brain surgery.

Someone for everyone, when I think about it.
