The natural, musky smell of a man.

    QUOTE Dec 03, 2011 7:51 PM GMT
Do you enjoy the natural body odor given off by men? I think our race has made it taboo to smell natural anymore, and people prefer sweet smelling things.
I personally love the smell of a man's sweat.. it's something in their pheromones.

Anyway, I think it's interesting how we are masking our sense of smell by spraying perfumes all over ourselves, yes it smells nice and has been done since the times of ancient Egypt, but I think it isn't that nice smelling. Some people walk by and I get a headache..
In Africa, an anthropologist studying an indigenous tribe was ignored for 3 days after arriving to the village. When he asked why, the village people said that he "smelled like death". No this isn't some superstitious thing, he just reminded them of the perfumes they use in their burial process.

Anyway, Do you guys like the smell of a man? Or do you prefer Chanel or Drakkar Noir type shit?

I love the fresh-washed natural scent of a man. But not his putrid stink a day later.

Nor do I like artificial scents. I don't wanna smell a mountain stream, ocean breezes, or expensive designer scents that make me sneeze.

A fresh-washed man is the greatest smell in the world. Why gild the lilly?

Is it musky or musty? Which ever it is, It's just not for me. I am more into a clean-smelling, sanitary guy because anyone who smells musty just tells me that the guy has terrible hygiene habits and is lazy.

Eh- it depends. When I smell- it's worse than anything you can imagine. But some guys don't have a scent, and you can tell they've been working hard or working out because I do detect the pheromones. It created a near awkward moment when I checked out my good friend's ass a few weeks ago, even though normally I'm not into him like that.

There is a remarkable difference between "sweat" and "stinch."

    Place the stinch downwind please.

Nothing gets me hornier then when he showers with that special jell of his, hit's the gym and comes home all sweaty...the smells mix and it's a head spinning olfactory orgasm.

Both can be attracting/enticing depending on the timing and amount.
A hint of a cologne I like can be a great turn on, but not in a gym, bar, or 'bedroom.' A well bathed man, even hours later in bar or bed, with testosterone and pheromones doing their thing is a turn on.

Yeah, I definitely like the natural sweaty scent of a guy I'm attracted to (especially after a sweaty gym workout) -- no cologne, no deodorant necessary icon_cool.gif

    according to the dictionary

musky = having an odor of or resembling musk

musk = a substance with a penetrating persistent odor obtained from a sac beneath the abdominal skin of the male musk deer and used as a perfume fixative; also : a similar substance from another animal or a synthetic substitute

I am in the same boat as you Augustine92. Scent is at the top of my list... It's a hit/miss because if I like the way someone smells, I'll be attracted to them pretty much forever (on a sexual level anyway).

It sucks sometimes because I've been with some really good looking guys physically but their scent didn't match up... I couldn't get it up and I felt pretty bad about it. Whereas just remembering the scent of someone I really liked the smell of is enough to do it for me sometimes.

Definitely all natural smell. If I liked pretty smells I would be straight. Nothing is worse than getting into the moment with a guy and exploring them with your mouth and you hit the foul taste of deodorant. The smell of a man was how I first knew I was gay. Lockerroom in school, me and the guys changing from being on the field and then it hit me and man. My eyes glazed over and mouth agape and slightly drooling. I knew right then and there. I still remember it clearly to this day.

I like the "fresh out of a hot, soapy shower" smell. I very light cologne smell is ok too. I don't like "onion smell" or "cheese whiz" scent on a guy at all. It all depends on you biological make up how you smell when you sweat.

Listen, there is nothing sexy about a funky man. I enjoy a man fresh out of the shower any day over someone who smells like has 3 day old onions in his arm pits. I do not get the fascination with it but for every one trash is someone's treasure

FRESH sweaty guy = can be a pretty hot smell..

STALE sweaty guy = gag (not in a good way)

It also depends on the guy... pheromones.

I can still recall the distinct smell of my ex - my first relationship. It's the only happy memory I chose to keep...

Same for me, buddy. All of the guys I liked the most in my life I can still recall the scent of, and I get reminded of them when other people smell similar.
