First time in Seattle and I am wanting to know which clubs/bars are the places to go. I enjoy dancing but I also enjoy in nice pub setting with pool tables. I'm a very open minded person so any suggestions would and will be appreciated.

Neighbors on Capital Hill, near the corner of East Pike and Broadway is a standard. Missed it while I was there but it's pretty well known.

fireworks at the Needle. a more intimate club in Belltown would be nice.

Didn't even think about the Needle. I will definitely consider that with the bf.

My faghag friend who goes to UW says Neighbors is one of the most fun places she's ever been.

Neighbours is not the place to be for the gays, IMO. I've lived in Seattle for years. This used to be the top gay bar. Now it's not quite so gay. Granted, the music is good, but the crowd is not.

I'd say Cuff would be a better club to go to, even Neumos or Chop Suey, if they have anything going on. R Place is "okay".

Watching the fireworks, Elliott Bay, Lake Union, Space Needle are all good places.

If you aren't looking for a place to dance, Lobby, Purr and Elite are good bars, and Grimm's has a 3rd floor now.

OK, hate to say it but "The Cuff" is infamous for SEA. Oh, pool tables? Maybe another place. No shortage of 'mo bars in SEA. OK, not much help I see.
