Why won't you meet up with a versatile guy?

Every now and then while surfing around gay cruising/dating sites one comes across profiles that state they're only looking for total bottoms or total tops.

My question is: what is it that you guys don't like about those of us who like both to pitch and catch? Do you find us not dedicated enough to your behind/penis?

    I'm just curious.
Well OK, I wanna hear your responses so I can show you all the logical faults there icon_lol.gif

    EDIT:
Thread was previously called "What's wrong with us versatile?", but I realized that didn't really pinpoint the subject.

    Maybe I should rephrase that.

What is it that you find so wrong with a guy being versatile?
And I'm talking to those looking for "bottoms only" or "tops only".

I'm a little curious about that myself.

A couple of things I've noticed about "total tops."
1- A lot of them aren't very good at it.
2- Once you get naked, a lot of them get really "versatile" really fast.

i think it has more to do with them, than us (versatiles).

Depending on what they are looking for bottom or top. I dont think they want any room for negotiation or an attempt to convince to do the opposite. Easier for them to just find exactly what they are looking for.

here's the way i look at us verse guys.

we're more imaginative. we're better communicators/negotiators. we're "up" 4 anything (w/i reason, haha). we don't need the old, tired top/bottom, fem/masc stereotypes. we have a much larger playing field/choice.

I've met a few guys at various in the past that I thought were total tops (and I no objection to that!), but sure enough, after a while, they were on their backs with legs on my shoulders. Go figure!

Variety is the spice of life.

When a guy tells me he's versatile, I instinctively think that he's an ex-con who always had a steady supply of cigs.

well I think that if you look at it objectively somebody that is strictly a top will want to be with somebody who is strictly a bottom and visa versa. Guys who are versatile want to be with other versatile guys so they can enjoy both topping and bottoming. Somebody who is versatile might not be satisfied being with somebody who only tops or bottoms (I know I wouldn't be) so why would you want to get involved in a relationship like that?

This, for true total tops/bottoms. I mean yea I get it, some guys dont care, at the end of the day I would feel like I couldnt satisfy them all the way.

Then again, I dont think anyone is total anything, once in a blue moon I do like to top (and I should find Waimea when I do!)

I think it's just a matter of someone not wanting to be pressured into doing something he doesn't want to - eg. a guy that's just looking to top and doesn't want to be prodded into bottoming. I'm vers, but I respond to total tops looking for total bottoms anyway...what they don't know won't hurt them, especially if my ass is good. icon_wink.gif

Ditto. ... Versatile as long as it stays within males.
