I'd like to have heard more about the dog, who apparently understood that there were living things inside that bag that needed rescuing, and taking it home to its owner would accomplish that. Amazing.

I plan to donate to a no-kill animal shelter for Christmas icon_smile.gif

That would be awesome, but keep in mind, the shelters that do kill animals need donations too. They don't kill the animals because they like to, they kill them because they do not have the room to house them all. Another problem is that people are adopting more from no-kill shelters now, while the kill shelter dogs just sit there and wait to be euthanized. Not saying you should not help the no-kill shelters, just saying they both need help.

The dog just wanted to keep them alive so it could chase them later.

My pit bull/lab mix would do this, without question.

She loves kitties and small things, total mom.
