Today was my first day back working out in 2 years.

I didn't do to badly. Should be back where I was in a month or so. Luckily I have a fairly physical job so I wasn't out of shape much. Just need to tone up and loose about 10lbs.

    Yea for me!

Congrats! Excellent that you are back and working back into it.
Make sure to outline your goals and get input from a trainer if that is important to reaching those goals. More than anything, just enjoy being back and hope you reap rewards (minus the pounds) in the near term!

Thanks guys. I'm going to start slow with a 3 day split. Today I did chest and back, with legs and abs on Saturday and shoulders, traps and arms on Monday.

The real test is going to be getting up at 5:30 tomorrow morning for cardio. Esp since the house is so cold. icon_smile.gif I'll do 2 days of cardio. I don't want to get burned out.

Nothing like an impending ATLANTIS cruise to get you motivated to get back in the gym icon_wink.gif

    Yep! ;)

And Dallasfan-I need to get back to that-10 pounds and toning... It's going to be the toughest 10 pounds to loose though as it's all middle age belly fat. icon_smile.gif

OMG... I forgot about squats... I'm at about 2/3 of the weight I was doing before. I worked out my legs yesterday morning, then went and worked an 8 hour day on my feet all day. I could barely move this morning.

But it sure is nice to be sore because of exercise and not because of old age.
