Where are the new places to go? I haven't been back since I left in '08. I'm sure a lot has changed.

I want to see what's new in Vegas...I used to live there...I hung out with the hipster old vegas crowd...but what new nightclubs are on the strip?? What's worth going to? I'm trying to entertain some people who've never been

Not much has changed since 2008. Niteclubs unfortunately just dont pop out of nowhere, especially in this economy. Las Vegas has a 75% foreclosure rate..

The only thing "NEW" in relative terms would be Steve Wynn's Encore, but that opened during the brink of the economic fallout out in 2008/2009.

Haha I didn't even think about that. Thanks. Will do.

I'm staying for a week, right before Christmas. A little graduation present.

WTF? This is helpful to the OP?

I LOVE Vegas! My favorite places to gamble are poolside at the Golden Nugget (they have pretty, fun dealers and its great people watching while blowing thru some bills) and Encore (nicest Pit Bosses on the strip!).

Krave and Piranha are two fun gay bars, but very expensive if you are not a local. I'll be spending NYE at Krave this year! Charlies is off the beaten path but a fun spot if you are looking for something more laid back and zero attitude.

Hotels: I've had the opportunity to stay in various Palms, MGM, and Aria suites, and all are amazing but the MGM SkyLofts win hands down. The level of service and amenities are incredible! The Wynn & Encore rooms are great, too!
