Added: As noted below, this is a fictional story and does not represent a real-life first person narrative by the OP.

I was riding my red scooter with a new rainbow flag mounted that measures 20 feet wide by 15 feet tall. Being gay is the most important thing in the world to me and I want to make sure everyone knows it. A cop stopped me and told me my flag was too large and that it obstructed the drivers' view of traffic. I was outraged and considered his attack on me to be an attack on all gays. I asked him if he supported Republican-Fascist-Nazi-Asshole Governor Scott in his secret pledge to Republicans to ship us all to concentration camps so that all Florida gays would be put in their place. He just smiled, which got me even more infuriated. If I were still on Active Duty as a Senior Military Officer, that cop would never have smiled at me that way. I asked him, instead of hassling a gay man, who also just so happens to be a VIP at the Condo Association, why doesn't he spend his time doing more important police work, such as removing Muslims from the area. He just shook his head and added a Hate infraction to my traffic ticket. This further confirmed the proof I already received about the Koch Brothers infiltrating police organizations with their homophobic venom. It's a total betrayal - I've always supported the police public employee union. The anti-gay right-wing extremists who have infiltrated this site must be rejoicing. What sad times we live in, don't ya think?

These installments are based on fictional characters and the primary events are also fictional. Any similarity to a real person or persons, especially in terms of self-indulgent or pompous behavior, is completely the inference of the reader.

Sounds like you ran into my self-loathing cop boyfriend. I'll beat that pig's ass for you tonight.

Wait sorry you were pulling a 20 foot by 15 foot flag from your scooter down the street? I don't really get it or see how it's a gay attack. If a car in front of me was driving with a Canadian flag that big flapping in the wind I'd be like what the hell too. If it ripped off or something it would completely cover a cars windshield. Maybe I'm not understanding correctly?

Am I missing something? What happens when you slow down and turn the corner, isn't this massive flag dragging along the street and sidewalk where people are standing? I can't even picture a flag that large attached to a scooter :S

It's a satire. You are looking at the situation from the perspective of a logical, rational, sane person, versus our fictional character.

    WTF?

Relates back to some discussions and a position an "esteemed" RJ member took some time ago. Just to be clear - the fictional character does not coincide with me at all.

I don't think your attempts at amusing parody work, at all.

As responded to in Installment 1:
While there are exceptions, there does appear to be a relationship between political orientation and a sense of humor. Reminds me of the movie "The Way We Were" by Redford and Streisand.

    You support this observation. icon_lol.gif

You're welcome. You also support the observation in the message above, but of course from a different perspective. icon_lol.gif

Of course, the further to the right you lean, the more honed becomes your sense of humor. Take that Hitler guy: comedy gold.

southbeach1500 saidWill you be serving that local police department with a subpoena? I'm sure the officer isn't telling you everything... there's more to this story than the officer is letting on to.

Yes a subpoena seems quite in order, given the circumstances.

Haha - Good idea. There must be a conspiracy.

No one on the right understands comedy or humor. The OP is further proof of that. icon_rolleyes.gif

Well then, the only thing to do next is to sue everybody in sight down at the police department. The money you win will be a nice legacy for your partner! That's right - sue 'em all. That's the way. That'll make 'em quake in their boots, by golly! They'll soon learn they cannot mess with you, Colonel McBragg. You tell them, sir.

Apparently he scoots along with a cortege in tow. They grab the flag when he makes corners to ensure nothing untoward occurs. You should see them, one hails from New York City who is a devout Socialist. Never a bit of realism floats through his mind. They are always followed up by a not-so-hunky now helicopter pilot who resides in more tropical climes when not needed as a participate in the cortege.

You should join. I hear they congregate late Saturdays to spin the finest caps known of the great vineyards. only the finest will do. Why they even have a hot pink Christmas tree this year mounted on a trailer.

I'm sorry you feel the need to post something like this and have the insolence to claim it to be fictional. Be ashamed of your age

Not ashamed of my age at all, whatever that has to do with it. And it clearly is fictional, as most of the guys who responded in the thread know quite well. I won't say you should be ashamed of yourself, because you don't have the sense to either be ashamed or embarrassed that you waded into a thread aggressively, not knowing what the fuck you were talking about.

You are only insulting your own intelligence. You have lived all these years and still lack the life experience to adhere from being this petty. Every frequenter of the forum knows what is implied with your story. It is saddening you feel the need to post this
