I'm really, really, really, really blessed this evening. Thank you Mr. Police Officer, Sir!!!

Nailed in the Porsche and NOT carted off to jail. 147 mph in a 70 mph zone. Fortunately within my home county.

Yes, what was I thinking. icon_question.gif

I got out of a ticket last month for 74 in a 55 all because of my "Honoring Fallen Officers" license plate. TOTALLY worth the extra 25 bucks a year when I register my car.

Why didn't you speed up more so the police officer couldn't catch you? I will assume the highway was deserted.

I'm amazed. It is supposed to be a trip to jail. But as I said, it was the local gendarme. Knowing the judge, I'm going to be performing some community service work in addition to a fine of several thousand dollars.

IT WAS FUN AS HELL however I can say now that I am safely at home.

I have a dumb answer. Never flee from a cop. Not nice. Not nice at all. Plus the officer was a local. I don't think I want the entire Sheriff's department at my door.

    "Fortunately with my home country"

Yeah, it's great, not enforcing laws, that's very fortunate.

They should have dragged your ass to jail as you deserved and have you sleep in the bunk for a night.

YOU are fortunate sir....NOW DON'T DO IT AGAIN....i don 't want to log on here one day and find out that instead of a policeman stopping you, that the local coroner had to scrape you off of the road..............i came upon a fatal accident about 5 years ago...what had been a very handsome Hispanic man was dead on impact...not a pretty sight..blood was pouring out of his mouth, ears nose and his neck was broken...i walked to the edge of the road and puked.......it was awful...and i don't want that to happen to one of my RJ brothers...........

Oh don't you worry. Judge Rosenzweig is going to come within an inch of reaming me a new asshole I suspect. And he is a Porsche driver also no less.

OMG! You were clocked at 147 in a 70?

A few weeks ago, I was pulled over for doing 42 in a 35, but it was a construction zone (no one around working though). Sometimes 35 is way too slow.......

Recently I was caught doing 102 in a 55 zone on the long island expressway. 22 points was later reduced to 3 and a fine of 850 bucks. My dads attorney knew someone and thank god cause I need my car and my licenes.

Why the hell were you going 147 mph anyways? That's uncalled for. Your ass deserves to be in jail for possible reckless endangerment. Hate to say it, but you deserve more than a slap on the wrist. Sorry, I lost a couple friends to peoples 'speedy' joyrides. There's no excuse for it.

DOUBLING the speed limit? That wasn't very responsible.

I got a $190 ticket in Texas for allegedly going 16 mph over a 70 limit on my motorcycle. The limit had been 80 mph and apparently I didn't see the sign reducing the limit to 70 mph.

It's rather difficult to outrun police radios.

I was being a bit sarcastic, but I guess it doesn't carry over well.

No offense intended. But this goes to show whats wrong with the enforcement in our country. 147mph is a little fast to be driving on public roads. You never know what may happen. You get caught and let go. Yo doubled the speed limit. reckless endangerment much?

Im not saying i dont speed, but i atleast have the consideration of other peoples well being in mind when i do speed. To the point that i dont push it to the extreme.
