Yes small town - an old vacation town from the turn of the century (as opposewd to the Millenium). I passed through there a few times but didnt stay but had a nice lunch at the Bushkill Generla store. Where you staying - I think the closest hotels - other than B&Bs - are in Port Jervis, NY. Make sure you visit the Falls!

I'm at the Fernwood Resort. I'm here for work, so no time to sightsee. I've been here before though. Nothing much to do or see from my standpoint. I'm here to teach, get my bag of money, then fly back to San Francisco.

I may eat at Alaska Pete's Roadhouse Grill though. Great steaks! :-)

Aye, wish I could join you. I love that area..I remember it so well cause I had a business trip up there the day after 9-11 and I remember eating that lunch at Bushkill General Store and thinking how serene and pleasant it was with all this horrible mayhem a mere 75 miles away.

I've been there numerous times. The poconos in general is a beautiful area. Albeit a bit cold this time of year and the hiking isn't as good. I love the area and do miss it.

I own a vacation home up there and lived in the area full time for about 6 years until recently. Let me know if you need any specific info.

While I know you said you have no free time to sight see, there is a gay resort south of there off 209, Rainbow Mountain. Good dining menu, friendly people. I used to entertain there.

I go to school 15 mins away from Bushkill and live about an hour away. Never been there but everyone I know says it's a great place to visit.

We used to summer at Saw Creek!! (There was a gay couple at the house across the road, first time I ever met anyone who was gay. They had a dog named Kahlua)

Everyone in the world is actually from Bushkill. Bushkill is the headquarters of The Matrix. It is where there are hundreds of warehouses with every person in the world stacked side by side connected to VR pods.

Will you take the red pill or the blue pill?

Sucks you don't have enough time to sightsee. There's quite a bit to see in that area. Shawnee is pretty close to there and if you're a nature nut, that area of the poconos is perfect icon_smile.gif Fernwood...haven't been that way since I was a teen. Did you check out bushkill falls yet?
