    So appropriate and rational.

Also completely hypocritical, since Gingrich has admitted smoking pot in the past.
Someone should ask him if the death penalty would be a justifiable punishment for his toking -- since that's what he proposed to do to others.

U.S. law already allows the death penalty in the cases of large-scale drug operations — or continuing criminal enterprises — that result in murder.

    Tiny difference there... killing someone.

Seems the same to me - though we would have to obtain the entire transcript from 1997 or whenever that was in order to be absolutely certain. But that might destroy your entire premise you're trying to put forth with this post, so I suppose we should just forget about doing that.

Possessing 2 oz. of marijuana is the same as murder to you?
One of the many things we disagree on, I guess. icon_rolleyes.gif

Go ahead and post the actual legislation and then we can be sure. Otherwise, all we're left with is a piece written by someone who clearly is a liberal and that makes it rather suspect in terms of motive - in addition to the fact that liberls tend to get things confused quite often due to the way their brain's are wired.

The person who brought it up is a GOP presidential candidate and former governor. The video is in my original link.
