Best Crime Movie: The Usual Suspects
Best Tear Jerker Movie: The Color Purple
Best Emotional Movie: Schindler's List
Best Comedy: TIE - The Hangover, Blazing Saddles
FAVORITE RECENT MOVIES: JJ Abrams, "Star Trek", Captain America, Thor, Scream 4 (I liked all of the "Scream" movies)

Speaking of Meryl Streep, if you haven't seen her in "DOUBT" you're missing one of her best performances -- ever -- though not nearly as fun as her unforgettable turn in "THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA". -

I loved "The King's Speech" with Colin Firth and Helena Bonham Carter being "not crazy" for a while.
I was talking to a young guy the other day and he asked a question and I said, "It's a mystery!" - He just sort of looked at me and I asked, "Have you ever seen "Shakespeare in Love"? and he said, "No".
I LOVE that movie! A truly unique RomCom. Won Academy Award for Best Picture (one of the few RomCom's to do that) If you haven't seen it, I love it and I love the soundtrack, to it as well.
