    Im Latino and Caribbean.. but I have always hated Reggaeton.. with a few exceptions, I prefer Dancehall and Merengue...

    @ GreenHopper: I feel you re dancehall (loved it long time)and merengue (although I'm not as familiar with the latter), but something about reggaeton when done right makes me bus' ah wind, no matter where I am =D

    @Lenoxx: LOOOL, joker! XD

    @Zad: Hmmm, not bad at all

    Trollileo saidReggae is one of those genres I regret not having explored thoroughly... I'll have to hit up some torrents.

    Dont torrent.. ask the people in the know... there's a lot of non-Caribbean reggae out there...

    @ Troli: Yh you'll love it if you like hard beats and up tempo kinda shizzle, but try and check out charts/forums/word-of-mouth as not all are as great, but the one's that are: too bloody sick son! =D

    @The_Dollar:

    Here ya go (you just go to 'embed' under the video, and then copy the code)

    @GreenHopper:

    Re non-carib reggae, true that, e.g:

    For Reggae you could choose any bob Marley song.. so I'll go for something sicker.. more Ska-like even...

    For modern stuff, I was big into this guy...

    And my fave high school song was def this cry ;)

    And ooo, I went high on de bom bom..

    And for soca, this was tops!

    As for french styles, this was famous...

    I was always the white guy on the left in the local chant circles.. something about the white boys beatboxing lol

    And then there's this one for loving up on the dancefloor

    There's the classic fag hatred song sung by closet fags ...

    And even a funny Aruban song about the fags.. (they sing: whistling hole *whistle*.. yes they are talking about a fag's asshole).. this music never got too far because its in Portugese creole

    I can tink of a million more... awesome ones.. Id better stop.. Im ruining the reggaeton vibe icon_razz.gif

    And the below is a style that is popular (or was) only on curaƧao.. it was later exported to Amsterdam by emigrants... its called "bubbling"

    The below is a speedy version of bubbling.. the Amsterdam dj's used it profusely and gave it a techno twist with new sounds and no vocals...

    Here is a bubbling DJ remixing Jamaican beats.. as you can see its all about speed.. and like any Caribbean dj music, its meant to dance dirty too..

    Dont worry sage, if its too fast, Ill show you a bit lol ;)
