I read an article about that on Yahoo. The guy said 'we don't understand'. It's all conjecture. I don't take much of anything anyone says seriously unless it is personally verifiable.

During this past year of college I lived on 3 hours of sleep a night and a 3 hour nap in the afternoon. Friday night I'd go to bed at 11pm and not wake up until 12pm saturday. I was worn out.

I think how much sleep we need depends on the person. I'm great with 7-9 hours of sleep.http://www.realjock.com/reply/202830/
