Now normally I am a good tempered, good natured, and friendly person. It is VERY hard for a person to anger me, and when I do get angry, I can usually just walk away from the problem or drop the issue...most of the time hehe.

Well, to a guy walked into our store, and for some unexplainable reason, I took an IMMEDIATE disliking to him. He didn't say anything, do anything, or even look at me the entire time he was there, but I just got a BAD vibe from him that made me hate him.

This confused the crap outa me. I don't understand why I would have such intense, negetive emotions twards someone who I have never met before in my life and did nothing to warrent the stated emotion.

Has anyone ever had this kind of expierance? Did you ever just have an unrational reaction to a person or animal?

Yes, it could be he looked like someone who bullied you in school but you deliberately erased from memory growing up and the physical image of him now sort of revived the repressed memory. Or his image could be a spitting image your dad's former business partner who swindled him when you were too young to understand what was going on. Or it could be image of the gasoline boy who fondled you in your family car when your parents were not looking. Crazy things I know but I don't really buy into the "from the previous life" theory. icon_cool.gif

I had this happen twice and both times even after I got to know the person I hated them even more and even got into a fight with them.

I never think of it as irrational but more like a six sense that is very accurate.

it means your aura- the electromagnetic radiation you exude-and his are severely dissonant with each other. without knowing why or how, you picked up on that clash of opposing vibrational frequencies and were 'rubbed the wrong way.' the same in reverse is true of 'love at first sight.' :p

I think sometimes people have an unconscious way of drawing other people into their overall life pattern. Like say, for example, someone is really committed to being a victim in his life - he will have a way of provoking people's anger or meanness in a manner that someone else will not. It's not conscious or even based on behavior but an energetic thing.

All animals seem to have some capacity of sensing a fear/dislike of new comers. Humans have lost most of that ability. I have found that if my dogs don't like someone, I should watch my back.

I think you just had an ability flashback and your feelings were probably quite valid.

yeah that's valid too- like as with 'gaydar,' you picked up on things subconsciously and your realization bubbled up from that into your consciousness as a warning.

I honestly have never taken an intense, instant dislike to someone for no obvious reason. I could count the number of people I have disliked in my lifetime on one hand (unfortunately one of them was a roommate).

George Bush, Bill O'Reilly, and Dick Cheney piss me off to no end, but I don't think it's irrational to disdain them.

I don't recall having that experience, but A. Solzhenitsyn (in The Gulag Archipelago) talks about having the very accurate and valuable ability to spot "stoolpigeons" in prison through that visceral experience.

If it did happen to me, I would be on my guard, but try keep my mind open to the possibility that I could be completely mistaken.

I'd say religion, but then I was reminded that you asked for irrational hatred.
