Can I get some advice? I'm 60 next year and have been weight training most of my adult life - and never been too old to ask for help!

My latest programme is giving me great gains in size and definition. I'm eating clean and very enthusiastic, but my stomach stays flabby! Should I:

reduce my food intake? (eating good protein with supplements) OR
take a break from the weights and blitz some cardio for a couple of weeks?
continue with the weights for another 12 weeks then blitz the cardio?

I get to the gym 3x week - and its almost impossible to make more time there to do cardio AND weights.

    Thanks in advance!

Cardio is key as is eating
HOWEVER - my advice is the fundamental thing to reduce fat is INTERVAL training. Just running uses carbohydrate stores not fat stores. So it is important to use an interval programme on x trainer or treadmill
Scientifically proven that wiehgts and cardio combined prove to have best results
Carbs needed for energy -just not too much of them
Also try weights in the morning with no meal prior to training but a good one after and cardio in the evening

Good gyms in your area and if you want I will give you a name of a nutritionist in your area that i guarntee will get that off you in 2 weeks with your effort!
