Question for out bi guys...

I just had an idle thought this morning and thought I'd throw it out there.

For you guys that are both out AND fully consider yourself bi, was there or what was the tipping point that made you accept it and come out?

It seems to my Kinsey 6 self that if you're into women sexually and emotionally, why not just 'take the easy way out' and just stick to them?

Does one have to consider themselves a Kinsey 3 or 4 (or higher) or have some other compelling reason to go ahead and declare yourself, as it were?

    Just curious...

I dont know if I really believe in people being bi. I know for me I knew I was gay but I was still dealing with women. Does that make me bi? The tipping point for me was my penis finally stopped playing along when it came to women. I could get aroused at the drop of a dime but 4 years ago I was lying in bed with my girlfriend. I was ready...then NOTHING. I could not get hard with her anymore. We broke up and after a long break I tried it again with a woman. Still nothing. Soft as a grape. Now im only with men. If I could still remain hard with women I would still be a miserable man probably engaged or married to my girlfriend....just beating off to guys still.

I personally think bisexuality is possible, but I must admit I was always in the "limp noodle" category around women.

I would think with bisexuals they alternate periods of their lives when they find men emotionally and physically attractive more than women and vice-versa.

It would be interesting to hear some bisexuals stories. I personally have never had a friend who was bi, but I wish I had.

Have you ever noticed how few unattractive bisexuals there are?

Bi guys are pretty hot. I just worry about them being able to get what they need from just a man or just a woman. I think the key differentiator for me when meeting a bi guy is the emotional part. I have a friend who is totally str8, but has gay sex every so often. The emotional part is there.

So I will continue the question... how out are you as a bi guy, especially amongst women. It seems like it would be easier to say you were bi to a gay guy than to a woman.

I just dont get when guys say they are straight but then have a sexual encounter with a guy. That would make them gay....or I guess bi if they were still with woman...but I think it would be fair to say they are not 100% straight. icon_question.gificon_question.gificon_question.gif

I like your comment on this subject because I wonder the same thing. Many times I've said a bi guy is actually a gay guy that can still stick it to a woman every once in a while. It would be interesting to know the stats on where a so called bi sits emotionally when it comes to men and women. I'd also like to know the stats when it comes to how many bi men currently involved with a man will dump a guy for a woman? I'd also like to know what every mans definition is of bi because if he's allowed some guy to suck him off in the dark while his eyes are closed and he's thinking about some woman and isn't at all interested in doing the same or even touching another guy that isn't exactly bi. It's a horny straight dude that would probably hump a tire to get off if it's the only thing around.

The only thing really missing from this thread so far is the cascade of strongly believed statements that Bisexuality doesn't exist at all, and of course, an LOLcats picture.

Most do in the long run but while I'm not tied down to anybody I might as well play around with both. I don't know what I see myself with in the future. I guess just someone who I see myself happy with. The guy I'm seeing recently is also bi. Now, here's a good one. While us two are having sex we watch lesbian porn because we both like girls as well. I think everybody knows I'm bi including my parents. It took me a while to figure out if I was bi or if I was gay in denial but nope fully bi.

LOL thought I was rare as a gay guy for liking hot lesbian porn. I watch gay porn as well but enjoy watching two women go at it as well. Do you guys ONLY watch lesbian porn?

Yeah I think I heard Rosie Odonell on Stern mention she prefers watching gay male porn. I'm not a huge fan of hers but I could relate what she said to my liking lesbian porn. I was suprised she didn't mention lesbian porn.

I agree with her that watching two hot men go at it is much better than straight porn. They appear to be enjoying themselves most the time. Thats how I feel about two hot lipstick lesbians going at it. They look like they are really getting into it verses the straight ones where she comes off looking like she could flip open a magazine and start reading while he fucks the shit out of her and occasionally she will throw out a half hearted oh daddy response.

"Solipsism is not a single concept but instead refers to several world views whose common element is some form of denial of the existence of a universe independent from the mind of the agent."

"One consequence that is inherent to solipsism is an atomic individualist view of the world and nature. If only I matter, then other people, animals, environments only matter insofar as they impact myself."

"The theory of solipsism crosses over with the theory of the philosophical zombie in that all other seemingly conscious beings actually lack true consciousness, instead they only display traits of consciousness to the observer, who is the only conscious being there is."

So, yeah. Here in the Medieval Land of RealJock, a whole bunch of things don't exist, including bisexuals, simply because guys here don't BELIEVE they exist.

Hopefully there's a few hundred LOLCats I can post to support my point.

There was a time where I considered myself bi when I first seperated from my wife.

However, one night after a series of Kettle One and Red Bull my friend convinced me to give him a shot.

The sex was amazing and so safe emotionally. That was my turning point. I had never had such a great experience and since then I've been 100% on the dark side!

When I read the title of this forum on the main page, I expected the "question" in the title was going to be "What does a vagina look like?"

Do you get sexually aroused at all by men? Obviously if he went down on you or gave you a hand job you would get hard but by looking at him do you get hard? I'd think if a man doesn't actually stimulate your senses sexually you are just a horny straight guy that will let a gay or bi guy satisfy you as long as you don't have to touch him.

This is why I asked earlier if some guys who claim to be bi just make the claim because they've allowed another guy to satisfy them sexually but have never really been turned on by the guy.

Honestly, most of the bi guys I've met who claim to be bi are married closet cases who are willing to admit they have the hots for men but usually only admit that to gay guys or those that claim to be bi. I'm sure there are legit bi men who share it openly with women but I'm wondering if they are more open about that with women who also claim to be bi?

I'm a 3 (maybe a 2) on Kinsey Scale. I don't think it's really worth it for me to come out as bisexual to every body I know since I've never been in love with a guy. If one day I find the right one, then I'm gonna tell every one. My uncle is gay and my parents are really open-minded, so I don't even worry about it!icon_smile.gif
