Pretty much every homo's (and apparently 71% percent of NY) favorite governor

Read his new interview with GQ here:

    Cuomo for president?

I voted for Cuomo and its very very rare that I vote for a Democrat. I liked him up until he raised taxes after he promised he wouldn't. New Yorkers are taxed to death already. It doesn't really matter at this point because in three weeks I'm out of here and moving back to the midwest for Graduate School.

I enjoy cold weather. In fact the one thing I'm going to miss about the northeast is skiing in Vermont. Got to love Stowe, even if it is over 5 hours of driving from the city.

I'm headed back to my homestate of Indiana.

Sure. What fabulous grad school accepted you? I'm sure it's top tier. Much better than Harvard or Columbia. icon_lol.gif

I'm going to Indiana University for a masters in Accounting. I did my undergrad work at Purdue. I'm a little nervous about going back as I've been out of school for so long. Its going to be great being back in my homestate.

I dont ever judge people by what school they go to. I figure I will leave that up to the liberal elites.

I really like Cuomo for his social stances and advancements of gay rights. Can't say I'm a fan of his other policies.

Florida's not so nice this time of the year... we get very strong winds right off the ocean for days at a time. Not too pleasant.

I do feel sorry for people who are unlucky enough to visit during one of these windy periods.

Where DOES all that hot wind come from?

Where DOES all that hot wind come from?

Usually high pressure parked over Bermuda.

So it's basically just a big fat stalled air mass that keeps blowing in the tropics?

Incorrect. Bermuda is not the tropics. Neither is Florida.

A big fat stalled air mass that keeps blowing in the sub-tropics?

Not necessarily big and/or fat. But you've got your geography right now. icon_razz.gif

But is IS stalled? Just sitting there blowing harmless but irritating air? Not really adding any value to anyone's day or providing anything useful but CONSTANTLY making it's presence known?

Incorrect again. It blows all the pollution away from the metro area and replaces it with clear, clean air.

But in so doing annoys people so much that all they want to do is go inside to get away from it and any positive benefit it may have offered is then completely nullified by the amount of stress and irritation is causes for no reason other than to hear the sound of it's own shrill wind?

    Right?

I personally want to see President Obama hand over the keys to the White House to Andrew Cuomo in January, 2017.

As soon as Barack is re-elected, I'm gonna be a foot soldier for Cuomo in 2016.

I get the double meanings behind this convo, very funny, but WTF does it have to do with Cuomo? In future, please learn to edit your lengthy convos so 90 per cent of a thread about a different subject is not dominated by your useless banter, as if either one of you is going to change your opinions of each other while you waste every one elses time.icon_rolleyes.gif

Agree - It just seemed to go on and on and after a while, I decided to edit out most of it in the reply/quotes. Though it's worth noting that it never would have even happened had not an RJ member taken a cheap "un-Christian-like" shot at another RJ member. The problem is, that this time I decided to challenge that cheap shot and then two other RJ members who were not at all involved started piling on against me.

So we're left with the choice of either letting bullies attack and spread lies and do nothing in defense, or call out the bullies themselves on their bad behavior.
Sorry SB but your reputation here is only preceded by your behavior.
Both of which have always been extremely poor and unethical.

If the was an actual member that I was taking said "cheap shot" at you might have a point.

Of course, Mark is correct in that you're a stunning hypocrite for calling anyone else a "bully". icon_lol.gif
