...this leaves only the Hon. Dr. Ron Paul as the sole remaining GOP candidate who hasn't signed this hateful pledge against LGBTQ marriage equality and civil rights.

    And Huntsman.

I'm surprised you haven't talked about Buddy Roemer. I've been following him and he seems to be pretty in line with a lot of your thinking.

Sadly Huntsman and Roemer aren't really registering on the polls.

Granted, the Hon. Dr. Paul is a verrrrrrrrrrrrry distant long shot against the likes of Romney and Gingrich.

A freak turn of events could lead to some GOPers and a lot more independents like myself to pull for him as Romney and Gingrich are very distasteful (unless you are a 1%er and do not wish to see the corporate welfare state undermined). icon_confused.gif

Ron Paul looks a little like George Bush in that washed-out image.

NOM pulls the strings and the spineless GOP puppets dance. Even more pathetic when you consider the NOM group is essentially a big fraud -- a front group for 2 or 3 wealthy anti-gay donors who are trying to pass it off as a huge grass-roots organization like HRC.
