I will be traveling out of town with a bunch of friends and going out to different parties for New Year's. I never been out on New Year's Eve so I am wondering what would be appropriate to wear. Can it be a bit costumy? I want something fun and a bit catchy.

I am already thinking of a masquerade eye mask, it is appropriate?

Haven't been out on New Years' Eve in decades, but used to love it. Yeah, it's OK to be a little wild, mask sounds good. It's a time to live it up and have fun, enjoy!

Black and white have always seemed to be popular NYE attires. Typically people like to bling it out too. Fancy jewelery for women (or men in some cases haha) and a nice watch or so, for guys. People on NYE tend to dress a bit trendy too when going out. Last year I wore black pants, black sports jacket (A cool one, not corny haha), and a electric blue button down with a fun tie. It worked for me (I went out in NYC), but ultimately it depends on where your going. Your mask might not be a good idea at a house party, but if your going out to a bar/club, could work excellent. My biggest piece of advice would be to research where you are going and then decide from there.

    Good luck!

On New Years Eve, all I'll be wearing is a condom and a smile.

Surely thou make an jest. ;)

I'll likely have found my way into the rear entry of some nice lad, assuming things go my way.

Wearing only my skin and protection, natch.

It's my yearly tradition actually, I've never not been alone for New Year's. I did ask someone out this year for that evening though, but got tuuurned doooown.

    That gave me a sadface.

Though it might be for the better, M.

Anyone turning down an evening with you surely is either blind in one eye and unable to see from the other, or just a damned fool.

    Thanks J ;)

Though picturing that one-eyed guy just makes me sadder that I could have redefined the term face fucking ='(
