& that sounds like him. He doesn't even read the assignments cause when I ask him questions about it afterwards he doesn't know why he writes what he writes as far as his 2 or 3 worded unhelpful, negative feedback. If he read it it's only a small portion. I mean the assignments though not the essays.

So? Any errors? I know in the last paragraph I wrote...it worked. It doesn't work. Which are probably not sentences but I liked the way it sounded standing alone.
I got a 4/5 on it but I just wanna know where my grammar mistakes were. I need to talk to him. I won't be able to sleep tonight. That bag.

Some of my professors were Roman Catholic nuns... The last one was a real pain in my ass. My favorite quote form her was after an interaction with the Dean saying something was due sooner then she had planned. Her response in my presense was "SON OF A BITCH!" ... I gave her a surprised look cause while I've always considered a bit of a pistol didn't think she would cuss. After she noticed my look she realized my look and replied, "I'm a Sister; Not a Saint." I got a D in my last class with her but at least I graduated. I'm glad Undergrad is OVERWITH!

Grahamneg saidAre they uncompromising, evil and take off points for the smallest thing? Does it seem like they are failing you on purpose or everyone is getting a better grade than you when you know very well you are the smartest in the class? You finish tests first. Get A's on finals!
Story of my life! Well more specifically my English teacher. My essays are good! My reading teacher wanted to keep one of my essays because it was really good but I don't know why my english teacher seems to focus only on the negatives. I swear he is such an ugh. I work hard for hours on these redundant and pointless assignments he gives us only to find out at the end of the semester we are not getting a grade for them! They are just exercises! icon_rolleyes.gif
I'm one of the few that really participates in his class and pretty much the only one who knows the answers to his questions! Then when I'm right he always makes some stupid joke and has the whole class laughing! But still everyone is always wrong or touching the surface, or not phrasing something right. He wants everything verbatim, of what's in his fat head.
Are your professors this way? If you can help me understand or share your own stories. I'm just stressing I will fail the class and this is the one I need to pass to take other classes. It sucks cause I'm good at writing! Its always been my strong point.

On my final I got 4/5. He wrote...some grammar errors. WTF. It was flawless idk what he wants. The comment wasn't specific and not constructive. I didn't learn anything in his class. Just from what I already know.

    Heeelp!!icon_sad.gificon_cry.gif can you relate?

He just didn't like you enough. Maybe because you won't have sex with him???

as someone who teaches in a collegiate english department, i often find that when students complain complain in the manner that you are, it's because they think their shit doesn't smell (a hallmark of millennials). i'd be happy to give you an unbiased opinion if you post your essay on here, but remember, a lot of grading also has to do with pedagogy, and i have no idea how the grade in the class is organized.

To The Art Institute of Chicago? It was for the fall, I think I have to reapply now.

But Ario, I've seen your work, and it's pretty genius. I thought you were gonna be in Bravo's The Next Great Artist???

Mmmmm, SAIC =D Was it for the graduate or undergraduate program? I applied for their graduate program in 2009 and they were all uh no, but if you want you can go into our undergraduate program =D

Bravo rejected me twice for both seasons.

Well I was living in Chicago when I applied, my plan was to stay there if I got accepted, but I didn't.

Then who better to ask. I will put it back up for a bit...

Why not post your professor's assignment outline that shows what he is looking for in the assignment while you're at it?

yes, my professor is ugh. grades just posted for one class, and i got one of the lowest grades in a certain class that's un-curved (meaning, low grades were discretionary). it's completely baffling to me how i could've done so poorly. i can't even go to sleep right now.
