Do you think most straight people are latent heteroflexible?
On many forums throughout the internet, I read various comments about male celebs from those who identify themselves as straight guys.

I think homoflexibility manifests in lines such as these:
"I'd go gay for this guy."
"I think this guy is hot, and I'm a straight guy."

    In a nutshell:
heteroflexible = predominately heterosexual = mostly straight
homoflexible = predominately homosexual = mostly gay

"If I were gay, I'd so do you!" = Heteroflexible = "I'd do you on the DL if you buy me a beer."

FYI: Go to prison and you will see most of the guys having no problem with sex from another dude, first it is just head, then ass, then they are treating a gay guy like any girlfriend... "quality time," serious jealousy, and some even believing they might take him home (they don't) - then it all goes away after they step out of the gates.... they pick it back up when they re-offend.

Hah... very true.. looks like someone works in corrections. I remember once we were taking a class trip to a texas state jail and saw a couple of guys in the shower and one was guy jack off in the shower, one guy giving head, and another two fucking... The CO (Correctional Officer) giving us the tour was a dick though... soon as we walked into a unit he was like... "Okay, welcome to the zoo! Only this time, the animals are looking at you." douchebag... true in ways but come on they are human beings.

    Quite the class-trips you took.

to the OP, straights are as 'heteroflexible' as gays are 'homoflexible'. I remember quite a few threads on here for 'whom you would go straight for' or 'whether you still kept the door open to have a relationship with a woman' etc. Most people are somewhere between the extremes.

No they are homonormatively subconceptualist, their predominant concept being the subconcept of deconstructivist consciousness.

There's no such things as "gay" or "straight." Everyone is bisexual to some degree or another.

    ^ Yeah what he said.

I think everyone is inherently sexual , period. It's everything else that gets in the way for most people. I don't think a whole lot of men think about or want to think about it.

"It is a fundamental of taxonomy that nature rarely deals with discrete categories. Only the human mind invents categories and tries to force facts into separated pigeon-holes. The living world is a continuum in each and every one of its aspects."

eh, I think it's just a response to our incessant need to categorize and label everything.

A straight guy having homosexual behavior for a night does not really require a name imo.

I think people are just sexual, not gay, bi str8, just sexual. Do we have our preferences? We sure do. Are some strong preferences? Yes some are. I have no problem with people saying they are gay or str8 or bi. But I think it comes from the human need to figure things out, so we do what is easy....we make up simple categories in this complex world.

Most guys on here love men and the male body. It is a huge turn on for us. But maybe we meet this girl, and some reason we are turned on by her and want to go forward to doing more. But we stop and say...no no no, I am gay, so I can't do that with her. It is not that every girl will turn us on. For some it maybe none or 1 in 7 billion that might turn us on. But should we shut out what could be a great mutual experience because I have placed myself in a box saying....no no no, I am gay so therefore...I can't.

How about we just be human and enjoy our sexuality? Life would be so much simple if we didn't have to pick a gay or str8 team, but rather a human team. So that guys growing up can jack off together and no one would think anything wrong with it. Maybe think it is healthy, and maybe there would less teen pregnancies if guys had a human outlet to get off with. Who knows.

So yes, I like men, prefer men. I just don't think we should box ourselves in from exploring where are body tells us to explore, even if it is someone of the opposite sex.

This used to be called "situational homosexuality", what happens when straight men are isolated from women for extended periods. Not sure if that term is still in use. It was current when I had corrections training as a Military Police Officer.

Not only in prison, but also aboard navy ships, or remote assignments of both military and civilian males. I never heard it applied to females. And as you say, once the men had access to women again they ceased their homosexual interest.

I suppose this also establishes that there is inherent homosexuality, when men who have unrestricted sexual access to women choose other men instead.

i'd say some are firm and a lot aren't on their sexuality. It's kinda like the same when it comes to versatility and or firmness of sexual positions amongst gay men
