It makes me think his hypothalamus isn't properly thermoregulating his synaptic responses.

Haha, I would never make that conclusion, but it's good to know some do.
I am doing cardio at the gym and to minimise the after sweat I make the 200m walk in the snow between gym and office without a jacket.

In a nutshell, my thought is "What an idiot!" I think he's a sad individual who thinks he is showing off how macho he is or something.

it's the same thing I think of when I see people wearing flip-flops in the cold
AND it never has anything to do with sex BUT everything to do with logic and sanity.

I love it when it's 32 F outside and doofus' have on a ski-hat/toboggan, a heavy jacket, maybe a scarf too...and in SHORTS!

meh...it's all relative. Could be that they are from someplace colder and their body is better acclimated to the cold, more body fat, vanity, they might just be ducking from one building to another, they don't want to pay the $1 for a coat check, or (probably frequently) they're on alcohol or some other drug that makes them less aware of the cold.

In general I find I am happiest when I don't worry too much about what other people are doing.

When I see them only wearing a tank top, shorts and flip flops when it's 12 degrees outside, I think they were dropped on there heads when they were little. icon_eek.gif

In the UK, no Geordie (from the north east) man would be seen dead wearing anything but a t-shirt in sub-zero temperatures.

lol I think it absolutely hilarious when guys think they are macho because they have a high tolerance to cold weather.

I am the first person to throw on layers when I get cold! Guess I don't have a big one....

i'm guilty of going outside when it's cold with no coat..but it's in the 40's..now if there is wind..i grab a hoodie...has nothing to do with being "macho"...it's just a comfort thing for me.when i feel cold....like below 40 degrees,...i put a coat on....i'm not that cold tolerant.............
