I love good house/techno, and I love running. Mixing the two = epic. But I need tracks in the range of 180-185 bpms (beats per minute). I know there are some mixes out there produced specifically for running/cardio (MotionTraxx, Podrunner), but most aren't fast enough. I'd really prefer good stuff not necessarily tooled for running geeks. Help a brotha out?

185 BPM seems insane to me. You must be running much faster than me... that's like a full-out sprint.

When I run with music, I don't care so much about the BPM (I suppose I'm listening to typical 130 BPM music), but I like very aggressive music. Probably not your cup of tea, but music like old Ministry keeps me going.

definitely try out podomatic.com. the music section of that site is gigantic, with that section being broken down into just about every concievable genre of electronic music that there is. (and every other type of music too)

Its all filled with up and coming DJs, which means their downloads are for the most part completely free. And most of the DJ's post 30 minute to 90 minute sets, which is perfect for working out.

The only album I can think of that is somewhat decent with that high of bpms, is "The House Connection, Vol 2" - Richard Vission and Bad Boy Bill. Old stuff though.

I do have a couple running albums I like to run/workout to that are around 130 bpms:
"High Desert Soundsystem" - DJ John Kelley
"International Club Union - Session 5" by Grant Plant
"Way Out There - A Progressive DJ Mix" by Jody Wisternoff
"Silence In Action" - Electric Universe
