I finally posted a song by Ace Of Base. It's the 2007 Live remix of Wheel Of Fortune.

This is to be the preview of the new sound in 2008/2009.

The new double album will include new tracks + hits from the "WORLD WIDE REMIX PROJECT"

Go to my profile, it should play automatically.

    Enjoy!
(Also, All That She Wants (2008 Princess Ann Electrotribe Mix)

It's too bad Lynn isn't in alot of the new songs, the band just isn't the same anymore.

All That She Wants is celebrating 15 years as a Tech Noir single. THe demo was titled "Mr. Ace"

Wheel of Fortune is 20 years old, since the band's Tech Noir days in the late 80's

I remember everyone either liking or hating them because they either thought that all their hit songs were written in the same key, and that was either cool or stupid. As for me, I liked them and was showing signs of my gayness before I even know I liked boys. This was just one variation along the way.

AOB was notorious for being copied SEVERAL times by many other Eruo pop bands. Randy Bush's "Foreign Affair" sounds just like "All That She Wants"

Their sound & style was like no other in the 90's: Reggae with heavy Nordic beats and basses, added with a HiNRG flare... I think all music groups, then and now, repeat the same key and notes for the "new songs". Musical notes can only be varied in limited groups and measures...essentially all music will start to sound alike.

Britney Spear's "Hit Me (Baby One More Time)" sounds just like "Oops! I did it Again"... Same with Linkin Park, and Daughtry... icon_neutral.gif

Aside from AOB music, I mostly fell in love with the lyrics and vocal ranges. NO one can copy Linn's voice!! Jenny has that special pitch that makes the words flow with such gumption. icon_smile.gif

Ace of Base' The Sign was actually one of my favorite songs in my elementary years, before peer pressure drove me from female vocals. LOL I still like it.

They got that unique reggae-ish beat. icon_wink.gif
