A few months ago if a member was hidden, the message text would not show unless hitting the Quote link. If a member was deleted, the message text would show as normal.

There is a habit lately of posting while remaining hidden or at least unhiding and posting, then hiding again. Suggesting the following to keep these threads, and also older threads, more readable and also save storage.

If an account is deleted, delete all forum messages posted from the account.

If an account is hidden, completely hide all forum messages from the account - no more using the Quote link in that case.

One issue with doing this is if someone starts a thread then hides or deletes, would appear that the next message had started the thread. Maybe in that one case instead of the original message, an indication that the message that started the thread has been hidden or deleted.

I see no problem with hidden members posting in threads. We usually know who they are anyway.

Valid opinions. The only thing I'll add is with the level of activity, especially in this folder where threads quickly get pushed out of sight, I think only active, non-hidden members deserve to have their voices heard.
