Thinking of replacing my older Samsung with a Galaxy S ll Epic.
My partner thinks I should get the iPhone 4s.

(Hard to believe that Apple "Big Brother" commercial was nearly 28 years ago!)

    Android RAZR

    Kevlar body.

Thinner and lighter than an iPhone with a bigger screen.

    Longer battery life.

I have a crappy old phone that desperately needs to be updated via AT&T.
I think my plan is up in June, but I'm sure I'll have to have an update before then. My bf has a Droid and loves it. I've always approached things from mostly a monetary standpoint and I use my phone for business purposes.
However, I've found with this phone, it's a major detriment.

Just bought an iPhone this past weekend... well, the money for it was an Xmas gift... I did my research, read many reviews, pro and con, looked at a couple of android phones, but decided to go with the iPhone, sorry guys... I wanted the SIRI feature, even though it is in beta... and the speech to text as well, one reason why I'm not a texter, I have never been a fast typer, so my chatting and emails have always been slower in responding, even in real time... and I don't need all the thousands of apps, just a couple, so I don't mind the stricter controls of Apple's app's policy... and since I have never had a smartphone of ANY size, I won't know the difference in size, as to which one may be better, of one screen over the other... I'm just happy that I can finally enter the 21st century....

When I was shopping around for a smartphone at the time, no Apple mobile had hearing aid compatibility. I bought an HTC Desire, which was supposed to be hearing aid compatible, but turned out to have incredibly annoying interference icon_mad.gif

So I have two non-Apple phones: HTC Desire for texting/internet/mini-computer/alarm and an old Motorola Razor for calling.

US Cellular doesn't have the iPhone, and as the owner of both an iPad 2 and an HTC Desire, I much prefer Android over iOS. Even if US Cellular were to get the iPhone, I'd stick with Android phones.

I hate humongous phones so I own an Xperia Mini which I will soon be replacing with Xperia Ray.

Pocket Android phones all the way! icon_biggrin.gif

DroidX and I love it. No intent on changing even now that Verizon has the iPhone available.

    Droid X
    Terrible keyboard
The iphone's is much better, Ima switch when I get he chance.
GPS is also a little buggy. (My bf has iphone much nicer. My brother had a Droid 2 and his wife had an iphone, he recently switched as well. Really - it's hard to find an advantage to the droids...)

Sad. I really wanted to like the Droids.
Windows phones have the slickest OS I've seen though (played with a friend's recently)...

I dropped AT&T (along with my iPhone, figuratively of course) two years ago and never looked back. I have the HTC Evo on Sprint's network and absolutely love it. It just works; rarely a dropped call.

Actually, that's something that Droid does do better than iphone.
The speech to text on my Droid X is much better than the Siri stuff on my bf's phone. Mac marketing was just much better than Google's on this. Google never made a big deal about it.

(Also, iphone's have far more apps than Android. Longer developer history in part. You suggested otherwise, so just thought I'd mention; though the issue seems moot.)
