Who here watches The Mole and is playing detective? Let's hear the theories.

I'll start. Alex is the mole. I think he was intentionally sabotaging the clay pigs in the sling shot.

Also, the ransom letter was signed el topo (the mole); therefore, the mole is male. If the mole were female, it would have been signed la topa.

I'm not really buying that Alex could be the mole. I have no clue who the mole is, but I have some good ideas on who the mole isn't. I obviously could be wrong, but the guy with the blue fire tattoo (Paul?) is NOT the mole in my opinion. I don't think Bobby is the mole either because he has not been subtle at all in sabotaging challenges. You're really supposed to have to look to find someone screwing up. He's been blatant in almost every challenge. And I don't want to think that history teacher guy is the mole after his little breakdown in episode 1 about his wife. It would be pretty dumb if he was the mole after that.

I personally think since the group has been doing so poorly in challenges, the mole probably isn't going to sabotage much, the other players are already doing a great job. So why expose yourself when other people are doing the mole's job of keeping the pot low?

At first I thought that was very clever that you caught the el topo/ la topa thing. But I ran topa through a translator, and it doesn't mean mole. Topa in the places I checked it meant "runs into" or "it runs into."

The mole could still very much be a man, but I don't think it HAS to be a man because of that clue. Personally, I think any of the women could be the mole except for Nicole.

When I watched the first episode, I randomly shouted out "she's the mole" when Nicole first appeared during the opening credits.

Well we don't get the Mole over here in the UK, is it anything like the Swan?

This is the first time I've watched the Mole so I am not up on all the rules and strategies. My first thought is that the guy with the blue fire tattoo on his wrist is the mole because he is so quick to call out everyone else, quick to form an alliance and also seems to lie down, literally, during the challenges. At the same time it seems like some may be acting like the mole to trick the other contestants and get them "executed".
I am concerned for Bobby's health, seems like he can't walk more than 5 minutes without pain or cramping.

I had no idea it was brought back!!

But it's just not the same without Anderson Cooper hosting it... or after going through an awful season of "The Celebrity Mole." icon_confused.gif

Not sure, Lozx, Is the Swan the one where they try to make people beautiful? The mole is a game where 12 contestants compete in challenges in order to win money that is ultimately given to the winner of the game. But one of the 12 players is secretly trying to make sure that the group doesn't successfully complete the missions. That player is the mole. At the end of each episode, the remaining players take a quiz about the identity of the mole, whichever player has the lowest test score (or in the event of a tie, the person who completes it slowest) is eliminated or "executed" from the game. The whole fun of watching the show is trying to figure out who the mole is while the players do it.

I think I watched 2 episodes of the mole before it went to the first celebrity mole. I know a lot of people hated it, but I LOVED it. But probably because I couldn't compare it to the original show.

Bummer, the 2 people I liked the most (Kristen and Victoria) were eliminated in back to back episodes. I was hoping Victoria would win and figured that Kristen could be the mole. Sucks that 1 second made the difference between staying and going for Kristen.

Clay is the only person left that I think is the mole. If he isn't, then whoever the mole is has definitely pulled a fast one on me.

I think Nicole is the mole, she is just all over the place, and I think that whining and complaining, and the first overnight stay away from the group was pre-planned.

I was starting to think that Mark's type-A behavior would be a great cover for the Mole, but then other players started to say the same thing. Now I'm not so sure. Clay is too obvious. Nicole wants everyone to think she's the Mole. Craig has done some suspicious stuff under the guise of poor health. Paul is an idiot. Alex isn't on my radar at all, and that probably means that he is the Mole.

I'm still going with Mark, anyway. I love this show!

I watch The Mole too and I don't have a clue who is the mole. Frankly I am bit confused by the entire show but i watch it anyway.

I initially thought Nicole was the mole. Everything she did just looked suspicious but the more people got eliminated and her recent actions and the actions of others just left we with lots of doubts. I am beginning to believe another player could be the mole, which coincidentally would make the mole a man. Not that it narrows down the suspect anymore.

Wow, so in the final 8, I chose 3 people that i thought could be the mole. Those people went out at 8th, 7th and 5th place. I'm at a complete loss of who the mole could be. I'm sincerely hoping Paul is not the mole, because I thought there was no WAY he could be the mole REALLY early in the run of this season. If Nicole is the mole, I'll be annoyed due to the whole "I'm going to eliminate myself" bit. So i'm assuming it's Mark or Craig. So I guess I'll put money on Craig. But as I've stated, I've been wrong before. I always thought it couldn't be Mark because he had the one confessional at the beginning of the season about how he needed the money so his wife could stay at home.

    Any other thoughts?
