Of course, it's easier to evade a collision course up in the air than when on a highway down on the ground.

"Sassy?" Is 38 your real age or your online age? "Sassy" a fiftysomething would say. At least you didn't say "saucy." That'd make you sixty plus.

55 in a little over one month. I'm secure, established and content. And soon I'll start getting discounts all over the placeicon_eek.gif

Frankly when you're in your 40's you are old-young, but your 50's are young-old!

Fifty-three next year. Looking forward to it. I'm having more fun than I was at this time twenty years ago. Life is what we make it. Be grateful for all your blessings - make a gratitude list if you want. Watch how full it gets.

Funny. But know how to use the internet? Oooooh, Chat rooms. That's sophisticated. Hey, we even still remember DOS prompts. One of my childhood toys was a plastic working conceptual model, illustrating how computers of the future would utilize binary code. My father is in his 80s with his own Facebook page. The internets? Meh! Now would someone please hand me my shawl.

Yep, I'll be turnin' the good ol' 23 in a couple months here, ya know what they say, life keeps gettin' better with age. Been taking my baby aspirin everyday to keep the ol' ticker goin' strong.

Maybe so, but in your 40s you still get hit on by guys in their 20s and the guys in their 60s. Even if you still look good, once you tell a younger guy you are 50, they might have been enjoying your company up until then, but suddenly they look at you like you just popped out of your coffin.

The 50s are the awkward gay years. Too old for the younger and either too old or two young for our elders. These are the Goldilocks years. The ones who survive it the best are probably the bears.
