    excerpts:

Sean Penn and Cuban actress Maria Conchita Alonso were once Hollywood co-stars — but they had an angry bust-up at LAX, with Alonso branding Penn a “communist [bleep]hole” after he called her a “pig” in front of a stunned crowd.
    ...
Alonso, born in Cuba and raised in Venezuela, says her “heart stopped” when she saw the actor, to whom she’d written an open letter last year to say she was “appalled” by his public support of Hugo Chavez.
    ...
The argument escalated from there. Alonso relates: “I said, ‘You are a communist, Sean Penn.’ He said, ‘You are a pig!’ So I said, ‘And you are a communist [bleep]hole! Is it great to live the way you do as a communist?’

    And this is news, why?

I guess Murdoch will publish anything that doesn't have to do with the phone hacking scandal.

Hollywood is nothing but a Communist cesspool. Sean Penn is the worst of worst. With people like this its no wonder this country is going down the tubes.

Here, you can read the same thing in your left wing site, so now OK.

Did you know you can cross-check sources, or is that concept a bit advanced? Not a skill you would normally hone when being fed the stuff you digest.

There are no other sources to cross check.
It's all just quoting the original NY Post story, which only quotes one source with this version of events: the has-been actress who claims Sean Penn was mean to her.
So typical of the Post: find one (dubious) source with an axe to grind against a progressive, write a whole story around it, and pretend that's journalism.
They missed that day in journalism school when you learn to get more than once source.
Supposedly a huge screaming match went down in a crowded airport involving one of the world's biggest stars, and not one other person can corroborate her version of events?
    Not believable.

That's true. But even if it is/was. Who gives a shit what Maria Conchita Alonso thinks of Sean Penn or vice versa?

What will Socal post next? The intimate political opinions of Kim Kardashian? icon_lol.gif

So I guess the Huff Post doesn't look so good, huh? Interesting that the actress is as you describe a "has-been". Not surprising you would take Penn's side. icon_lol.gif

Yes, the HuffPost should know better than to quote tabloid rags like the NYPost.
