    How wonderful!

Although what is it with lesbians always being the first to do everything when gay rights succeed? Like, whenever same-sex marriage becomes legal somewhere, it's often a lesbian couple the first to get married and such, haha.

    Where's your gallantry: Ladies first.

    OR

    Baby steps,

    OR

It's how we subvert the str8s. First we get the hetero's all hot and bothered with our lesbians and once the males are erect, the gays move in.

    Sneaky gays.

I think the best part of the story is that she believes the other Sailors in her division bought some tickets on her behalf. That says to me that this (the Repeal, the fact that she's gay) was a total non-event on her ship.

Dont foget,Straight men love to watch 2 women kiss and have sex, they find it so sexy...
That will never happen if it was 2 gay men kissing after getting home from a 6 months mission at sea...No matter if it was witness by a few ,or splatter across the wireless for the world to see...

They like to see girls having kissing and having sex, yes, but I doubt they're comfortable with the idea that some girls despise the sight of a cock.
So "Men like to watch women make out" doesn't really fit here. And if female gay couples can do it, so can male gay couples.

I think it's a cute photo, but I also think it was setup. Because the year "don't ask" gets repealed is when two lesbians get chosen, coincidence I think not.

I also think if it where two guys it would have gotten a very bad reaction, compared to this kind of non or toned down reaction that i have noticed.

Women kissing and having sex has always been much more accepted and encouraged (unless they are unattractive) so it doesn't really seem that impacting to me. Most guys are ok with lesbians. It's aversion to men having sex and kissing each other that is the biggest problem in regard to gays in society imo. :

Yeah I agree I just don't think it has that much impact and it shouldn't be hyped like it is when it's not. It's like when a person who is suspected as being gay or who fits a gay stereotype comes out.

Dumbledore being revealed as gay has more impact I think.

expected to see two men, not two lesbians; no need to see any of that.
