I was just tested at my personal trainer's.

In 7 weeks, I have replaced 4 pounds of fat with 4 pounds of muscle.

And reduced my metabolic age from 66 to 56, the same as my chronological age.

Today I held a 6-minute plank.

On Wednesday, I did 107 push-ups over 10 minutes...35 in the first set

My goals now are to continue the fat replacement at at least the same rate and to achieve a metabolic age of 35 by October, the first anniversary of my working out with my personal trainer.

Thanks, gentlemen. I am really, really happy tonight with this news. Since the muscle has been replacing the fat, I couldnt see any weight change and had no idea if anything was happening.

...and a 6-minute plank is good for me, who used to die at 2!

A six-minute plank is great! Congratulations. But watch out for that metabolic age stuff. At this rate, you may end up in utero.

thank you, guys. A little success is so inspiring. Well, not inspiring enough to get away from this computer and go do something...c'mon, I did my hour today. Whaddaya think? I'm nuts.

No, actually, it does inspire me to spend more time on my treadmill here at home.

And there are guys on here who are so inspirational. I see the pics of dudes near my age who are totally built. It can be done.

Congrats, Cas. This board is a continual positive influence to see that change in individual lives are possible. Thanks for adding to that here.

We should all be celebrating our successes and encouraging those that need a little help when it doesn't seem possible to improve.

routine? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ...sorry, with my PT, I have no "routine." I swear we never seem to do the same exercise twice. The man knows more ways to workout. Besides, that's why one hires a PT. So one doesnt have to keep track of all that stuff.

More unabashed highlighting for one of over 50 RJ member...

I squatted 245 lbs today. Failed at 255.

Of course, I dont know how that stacks up with others on this site. But I am happy...on the way to buff ...

I also did 4 (or 8, depending on how you count) banana rolls!!!!

funny pictures ... I juz haz it upsides-down apparently

PURE BRAGGING...BUT IT HAS MORE THAN MADE MY DAY

(I'd turn back, if I were you!)

I was in the sauna after working and this fellow that I have seen and spoken with before in there comes in and we start chatting about working out, personal trainers, etc.

And he gave me a "full body" compliment telling me how he has noticed how well I am developing...and he starts listing parts of my body...like my arms (natually)...and I dont remember whatelse because he also mentioned my calves!!!

I think like most of us, I am worried about not developing well all over...and calves are a hard part of the body to get to grow, I think. So when he even mentioned my calves, I was like in seventh heaven.

I never got a clear look at this fellow because I dont wear my glasses in the sauna. But I did see him in the locker room today.

Unfortunately, he is tall...never knew that cause we are seated...but he has the most handome face....like eb925guy, Luckydog76, and Alpha62667.

I am making such great progress...evidently...and couldnt be happier after this little encounter in the sauna!
