You see them, walking down the street, in the gym, at the store - Shoulders broader then the doorway, Arms bulging out of their shirt, Tree Trunk legs holding up their Huge Muscular Body. They walk by and we can't help taking a second look. Why do most of us look and admire Bodybuilders, Muscle Guys, Jocks and men with Beautiful Bodies?

Well, first of all. . .not everyone is (which is weird, I admit)

But, the "ideal" or "perfect" male physique is that of an athlete, or someone that works out. . .not of a couch potato, or some scrawny guy - so that is part of why we are attracted to it.

Same reason guys like girls with huge tits, big asses, and nice legs.

Big muscle guys may turn my eye, but lean slim muscle guys will turn my entire head.

I'm kind of in envy/lust with a guy about my size (maybe a tad thicker about the shoulders and arms) who can bench nearly double my 1RM (he's hitting about 365# for his 1RM) and is easily squatting double my working load (455 to my 205).

Dude is crazy strong but not freaky big... and very ripped.

    MUSCLES on Men are just...SeXXXy...
From bodybuilder to lean, muscles show how perfect the Male form is and can be, how strong and virile and, in a way, godlike.

it's awesomely hilarious when people self-congratulate themselves in a response. "It's cuz of the hard work we do."

When do you cross the thresh hold from muscular/fit to BODYBUILDER.

Also - on a side note, most bodybuilders can't get into clothes besides Hammer pants and such.

I'd say the discipline, except my head doesn't turn quite the same way for JD/MBAs.
