What is the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for you? Or what's the most romantic thing you've ever done for a guy?

A sweet and cute bar tender asked me to come over for dinner. After a wonderful meal (he went to a lot of work, and it was all delicious), he suggested that we run his claw foot bath tub full of water, and climb in. We sat there in the nice warm water, him leaning back, with my arms around him, and we just talked for a long time. It was probably the best date I've ever had.

I was in a bind in a strange city, and I texted a guy I barely knew about my troubles. He flew in and saved me.

A guy that I had been emailing and webcam-ing with called me out of the blue and asked if he could fly down for the day and take me to dinner.

Picked him up at the airport...never made it to dinner...and he's still here 9 years later

"... I just said a prayer for you and for your fiance. I thanked him for looking over you and being their for you. I thanked God for everything you've ever been through... the Good and the Bad. And, every day I'm with you, I reap the benefit. You might have been someone else's mistake bu you are my blessing and I'm thankful to have you in my life and call you my own."

And I still love him ... I wonder if you even still remember when you spoke thoes words to me. Come back to me CLC. You know where to find me.

That was the first most romantic thing anyone ever said to me. The above was the second. By the way, beautiful dog. I have one too, beagle that is. His name is Kael.

I stupidly started smoking cigarettes in my teens. Yet in the 10 years that I was with my partner from my 20's to 30's, this guy who died because he was always risking his life in adventures would never once buy me a pack of cigarettes when he was running out to the store. It pissed me off, but I knew it was love.

The most romantic thing that I ever did? When he died, I quit smoking.

He brought condoms and lube so I didn't need to drive out just to get them.

And afterwards he gave me a piece of Hershey's kiss from his backpack. icon_biggrin.gif

He fell asleep in his chair in front of the tv. I gently woke him up, my face inches from his. He looked up groggily then his face lit up with recognition and smiled. I've never seen such love in that moment in my entire life.

Without a doubt it was several years ago during a visit to Orlando. We were staying in this beautiful villa in this this wonderful hotel called The Villas at Grand Cypress ( http://www.grandcypress.com/ ).

The room had the biggest roman jacuzzi tub I have ever seen in a hotel. One night we had champagne and a bubble bath with candles all around the tub. Probably sounds corny, but it was one of the most romantic moments in my life that I will never forget. Everything about it was perfect.

I was once taken by surprise by an ex boyfriend. He flew more than 5,500 miles, waited in front of my apartment until I arrived from work, knelt down on his knees and asked for forgiveness.

It was a weekend I wish lasted forever.

I think it was more of the fact that it happened when I was younger that made it feel so romantic, rather than the actual experience being that romantic, but. . .

When I was 15, over the summer my family went to stay at our condo in San Diego, and this guy that I had been really into for the longest time happened to be there during the same time span that we were, and we spent like everyday together, and the part that I remember being super cute was one night we were walking on the beach, and we laid down on the sand and I had my head on his chest, and he asked me "What would it take for you to be my boyfriend?"

Looking at it typed out it doesn't sound romantic, but It just seemed, at the time, like we were meant to be there, in that moment - together.

Awwwww, love that story. I hope you forgave the guy. Anyone who would fly that far and take that kind of chance deserves a 2nd chance
