Do you have topics that you could go either way on pretty much?

    These are two of mine:

gun ownership: altho I certainly favor an effective system for background checks before the sale.

pro: criminals are gonna get guns no matter what. People should be able to defend themselves. Also, there are legitimate recreational uses, I guess.

    con: nut cases get guns

abortion: altho late term abortions look a lot like pithing a frog like we used to do in biology class

pro: an unwanted baby is gonna have a hell of a life; mother's health reasons; abortions are going to happen anyway, legal abortions are safer.

    Hmm... I don't know.

Therefore I am agnostic on this topic! icon_biggrin.gif

LOL Seriously, on most of the topics, I have a definite leaning to one side or the other...

But some I just don't care about:

    1) Vegans vs. Meat eaters - As long as it's food.
    2) Anything involving the Economy - ZZzZzZ
    3) GMO's - I am in favor of Genetically Modified Organisms in theory, but the way multinational companies are handling them makes me disapprove of it.

yeah, for me, GMOs depends on how they modified it. Is the new organism producing natural toxins to protect it from harm...well, how will they interact with my body?

Or, is it producing a healthier nutrient component, like maybe a polyunsaturated fat that is healthier for me to eat?

It isn't black and white to me. It makes a difference.

Water Sports: I used to say "NOWAY" to this, however, this guy that i'm really into right now peed on my leg in the shower. I objected harshly and tried to act all disgusted, but the part of me that didn't object may have blown my cover. (blush)

PrimeTime Television: It's mostly awful, but it's sometimes, ok.

I say Blah to GMOs. When those self-destruct 'terminator' genes mutate and spread and half the country's crop is snuffed out, it's nobody's fault. 'We're just humble little capitalists.' That and the fact 6-9 companies control something like 90% of the seed supply and are all moving towards GMOs. It's freaking bleak.

Why the fuck would you manipulate food crops to kill themselves? Money. Greedy fucking pigs should be killed. icon_mad.gif
