I was using IM with another RJ member. I could see him fine, but he could not see me. I have the latest version of Lion. The built in camera works fine with PhotoBooth and FaceTime. On the RJ IM window, I clicked the tab Send Audio/Video. A small window popped up within the IM window, with radio buttons to enable audio and video. But the window was completely frozen and I couldn't change the radio buttons to enable. Is this some OS X / Flash issue?

Yes, most likely. From my experience, Flash totally bites on a Mac. Well, at least on Snow Leopard. You can try updating to the latest version of Flash, but I can't say for sure that it will solve your problem.

Thanks. Turns out that was the problem. Updating not as simple as I've been accustomed to, both with Mac and other Adobe software. You have to download a flash uninstaller, then do that, then download the new flash installer, then install. I had an old version, 10.x, now 11.x.
