New winter pants, and a couple of games for the 360. My poor social life just got poorer with these new games. icon_smile.gif

steel toed boots, money, cafe patron, itunes cards, running shoes, true blood season 3 on dvd, new backpack, socks, rosetta stone for french, lighters (kind of a gag gift), and best one of all is my stepsibling's mother gave me some rings that Erica (Stepsister who had just passed away) had made in jewelry class back in high school...a little memento of her.

Was the best birthday/Christmas this year ^_^

The coolest thing I got was a 15 dollar lava lamp. I don't know why it makes me so happy!

Well, instead of the LaZBoy recliner I was aiming for, I got an inexpensive Costco/China leather equivalent and a new radiator for the Volvo.

Has anyone else figure out that scheduling an overnight car repair between xmas and new years is a profoundly stupid idea?

All the car rental places are cleaned out.

My fellow Washington State drivers now think I'm a hillbilly from Loisiana driving a Kia Minivan.

    I'm not.

That Kia hauls ass. And, the CDW insurance was only $20.
    (best xmas evur...)

Why do I have an urge to find those family member stickers (you know) and just go apeshit with them before I turn it back in?

Bro. Goodwill and other thrift stores. But I know what you mean. After the summer, all of my jeans were 2 sizes too large on me.

I've been taking clothes from my dad - who had lost a lot of weight when he found out he was diabetic. - And shopping at Wal-Mart.

Now, I am pretty stabilized to the size I want to stay, so I am going to start investing in better quality clothes.

But I am a total cheapskate, so everything will come from clearance racks.

But I am learning that quality counts for something. - I just bought undies that weren't from the bargain bin for the first time. - I still can't believe how much I spent. - But I can tell a major difference in quality. lol

I think you will find that many name brand clothing last far longer than bargin stores or Wal~mart. Walmart sucks!
