...what Are some good Ideas that I could do with 2 Teenage brothers that im mentoring?

One likes Sports and the other likes skateboarding and Playing guitar.

To be honest though they both seem to like a little bit of everything and seem really open and willing to explore and learn about things in the world.

Give me some of your ideas? They can be Free or things you have to pay for. Also im trying to think of things us 3 could do together and if requires money try and get to owners/managers to donate me tickets or whatever (ex. concerts or laser tag)

Get Creative and please Leave me some ideas! I posted a similar thread but no one helped me. Thanks Guys

Alternate between activities each of them like - like one day go roller blading, the next time go to a game.

Laser Tag is a good idea.

If they are both athletic come up with some outdoor activities like zip lining or an indoor rock climbing place.

I think the most important thing is showing an interest in the things they are interested in and letting them know you care.

Great Ideas...I thought of some of the ones you mentioned this week.

I actually just emailed this HUGe laser tag place where I live and explained what Im doing and asked if they would be willing to donate all three of us (3) games each for one night...worth a try right?

And this summer I wanna take them to this outdoor obstacle course with ziplinging which looks amazing.

I think they realize I care about them and what they do...One of them wrestles and ive been to 6 of his matches and am the only one who goes to see him.

The other one skate boards and plays the guitar so good...im trying to think of some things to get him involved with...maybe i can find some open mic nights for him to just play around with??

    Keep the ideas coming guys

    oh fuuuuuuck lolololololol

    too soon too soon!

but for real, go play basketball with them, rent movies, have them teach you something new.... showing an active interest in everything they do is a great stepping stone. Good luck!

My son will be 15 soon and let me tell you, him and his buddies are totally into airsofting. The guns can get pricey, but there are some inexpensive ones. And they will need a little protective gear if they want to do wars versus target practice.

Sounds like fun...never heard until you brought it up...sounds a little bit like paintballing...does your son like it?

Ya know it pisses me off when people who write statements like the one above me with that picture of the pervert.

*on a side note....Ya know I chose to do this because these two brothers dont have really anyone in their life and need someone to look out for them...Either to listen to them ..talk or do fun things with them(that they might not have the chance to do because financial situation)...Its something that means a lot to me and my friendship with them is something like a little brother...I come on here to try to get opinions because ive never been a mentor and to also get advice and immature guys have to write mean things and it offended me

The reason this question is so hard is that there are a million things to do. We dont know what you have access to.

Boys like a lot of things. Anything outdoors, anything kinetic, anything where they are mentally stimulated AND physically stimulated. Do you have a skill or talent you can teach them? Wood working. Working on cars. Hell, I have had a great time with my teenaged son just going to the park with a frizbee. No skill, just playing.

Go and play! When he was little you know what we did for fun? We went to Lowe's.... I love Lowes!

I think airsofting has become the new paint balling. Like with paint balling, there are parks your can go to for full on wars. The guns can get pretty serious, but they shoot plastic beebes. They are also rated for power and the more powerful guns are not allowed in the parks. Never was big on guns myself, but I figure instead of playing vedio guns games they are actually outdoors, climb hillsides, working as teams, creating strategies, and having a good time. Check out the site evike.com.
