If the video bothers you (it did me) then click on the link and while you are on the video page, close the page.. you should get a window asking you if you really want to leave the page? Choose "stay on the page" and you can read the text without the annoying video... it goes on and on about national financial meltdown and finishes by marketing a how-to brochure on surviving the crisis....

there's probably quite a bit of truth mixed in with Hype and fear mongering. Fortunately for me my life habit has been to live rather simply so I will be fine even if things do get bad. Those of us in rural areas can make it far easier than all the folks in the large Cities.

I personally don't see another great depression coming, but I do expect it to take up to ten years more to really recover from the mess brought on from from excessive debt spending between 2000 to 2010. I do think that another war such as the one being pushed on us with Iran, very well could tip the balances and send our economy into another downward tail spine. (imagine the effects of war on the cost of Oil and what that would do to the American economy) I hope progressives and moderates prevail and slow to a stop all the war drum beating by the NEO CON groups who have sprung up again with major Republican support.
