Hate discussing religion but want to discuss this idea of Heaven - A perfect Afterlife - a Utopia.

Ok. Guys- Heaven is a Utopia. Everything is perfect in there but evil was created from there. A being turned bad- aka the devil. So after the so called rapture and everything. Whats to say that the same thing will not happen again? or people won't get bored in this forever world? Anyone ever thought of that. I am thinking about now. I get bored of just sitting somewhere for too long. I can't imagine forever! I guess I won't have urges? and will become a robot? cos I will probably want to hook up with a hot angel after a while.

hmmm...you speak of a heaven and devil etc described by people that thought the Earth was flat, that man could not fly, that it took truckloads of sperm to get a girl preggers, that men never shot blanks and that it was the woman's fault for being barren and that thought heaven was just above them in the clouds (the Tower of Babel).

They also thought any kinds of mental illnesses were devils possessing you.

...and they would have happily killed you for denying any of the above.

I could add more but you get my drift, I hope. icon_wink.gif

I like the idea of a heaven or a nirvana a lot better than an underworld... that said.... the only way a place like that can exist is if it is outside the present space-time continuum... that is only possible if there are more dimensions... which theoretically speaking is entirely possible.... but its not like you will "sit around" for eternity, since if you are outside space-time, eternity could feel like an instant and all of space will be a singularity
