Best Lunch Date

I was having lunch with friends earlier and noticed how each one of my friends bring their own flavor to any conversation.

So I was thinking if you could have lunch with three celebrities for stimulating conversation or entertainment value, who would it be.

I thought lunch with Tina Fey, Ellen DeGeneres and Anderson Cooper would be an absolute hoot.

Tina Fey because she's witty, sarcastic and more in line with my personality. Ellen, well she is just plain fun. And Anderson for some substance and doesn't hurt that he is hot.

So what celeb's or politicians would you want on your lunch date?

I think Ellen and Tina Fey would be a hoot too. How's about add Kathy Griffin just to get us kicked out of the restaurant at some point for upsetting the old people at the table next to us.icon_lol.gif

Haven't given this a lot of thought, but: Bill Clinton (despite his craziness lately), Neil Armstrong (the first man on the moon), JK Rowling.

Johnny Depp would be interesting as would Matt Damon (I like poker). Among women I would not mind talking public policy with Hillary Clinton, not politics but policy.

With people whom are now dead. I would like Catherine the Great, the last Tsar of Russia Nicholas II, amd Marie Antoinetted.

Alive: Her Majisty Queen Elizaberth II.
    Agnetha Faltskog.
    Bette Midler, and Joan Rivers.

    I would have theme lunches.

The first one would be about understanding the nature of evil. So I'd want to lunch with Osama bin Laden, Dick Cheney and the leaders of Myanmar.

The second would be about making the most with the least resources and/or talents - meaning lunch with Madonna, Bill Clinton and Oprah. Three people who rose to great heights by sheer force of will, genius self promotion, and branding themselves as human commodities.

Those are just the first 2 examples...I'd likely do one one religion...then one of faith...another on media, etc.

I saw Coop coming from NYSC on 14th street. Looks just as hot in person.

I would like to have lunch with as many members of the Algonquin Roundtable as possible. After a few rounds of bon mots and backstabbing I would empty out their urns and use them as cocktail shakers.

Kathy Griffin would be fun. Wonder how her personality would work with Ellen?

    Good call though.

And great idea on having theme lunches. Though, I wouldn't want Osama at my table. Dialysis equipment and cave sand doesn't go well with salad.

I once had lunch with Sally Struthers, Candace Gingrich and Jean Stapleton. Though not the first trifecta that come to mind, it was really fun....

I still have pics of Sally and me. She is so fun and super sweet. Though the pics are a riot.

    Let's See...

I always wanted to meet Dolly Parton, but I think my lunch would be...

Parker Posey, Henry Rollins and Tina Fey... I think it would be a fun crew...

Henry Rollins would be an awesome choice. Very handsome, and surprisingly pro gay.

Did Sally Struthers ask to finish your plate?

I saw him in the Park once! Funny.

My perfect lunch? Bill Maher, Ina Garten, and Marlee Matlin.

Or possibly Mike Nelson, Crow, and Tom Servo >:-D

Haven't seen anything of hers lately, but I've been watching plenty of clips on youtube. This is my favorite...the French and Saunders take on the Madonna/Missy Gap commercial and the Madonna/Britney "Me Against the Music" video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=qeWMLuHtM38

    Hilarious!

Putting all the hunky men aside and going just for the fun of it or a mental exercise

    I would choose Jon Stewart
    Nathan Lane
    Tina Fey
