    Obama and the Dems.. sorry Repubs but the campaign of 'holier than thou' and "I dont care if you were born here, get out" didnt cut it.

    I certainly wasn't surprised.

    However, I think it would be a mistake to take any group for granted.
    I would assume Obama will go out of his way to recognize the support.

    It really depends. People have to realize there are some 20 Spanish-speaking countries out there and that they're all different from one another. Certain Hispanic groups regularly vote Republican (Cubans, Venezuelans, Dominicans) while others typically vote Democrat (Mexicans, Central Americans). The others are a toss up.
