yourname2000 saidI'd agree that Romney appears to be the best of a weak bunch, but it's almost like putting up Dan Quayle. icon_eek.gif He's so wishy-washy that if I was an American voter I'd worry about who his (unelected) puppetmasters would be. icon_neutral.gif

Well we've already got a list of who his most obvious "puppetmasters would be",

    1. Corporations 'are people' and they pretty much pay his way politically

    2. The NEO CON/Military Industrial Complex seeking war with Iran because they didn't learn a damn thing from Afghanistand and Iraq. Romney cannot make any moves on Foreign Policy without their approval, money donations and influence for votes

    3. The Israeli Lobby and whatever they want, whether its pushing their interests of war on Iran for their benefit or continued settlement building until they acquaire all of the west bank "Greater Israel". Romney wants their money and influence for votes

    4. The Tea Baggers and far right christians because he wants their votes.

But is Obama any different ?, maybe when it comes to the Tea Baggers and the Far right Christians, but on the first 3 >>>> HELL NO !!!

^^^ I was about to say Obama isn't much better but I do think Romney has the best chance at beating Obama...I still think Repubs will hold House and take Senate...

I think the House is up for grabs. 9% approval rating and people are very disenchanted with even their own.

I worked on Dan Quayle's first run for the senate in 80. Good man.

Your country is filled to the brim with good men (lots right here on RJ)....not all of them presidential material though, lol.

If a flip-flopper like Romney is the candidate, John Kerry is gonna be spinning in his political grave! LOL. The dems will be able to recycle that Republican windsurfing ad with Romney's face superimposed on it. icon_lol.gif

An NBC poll just out this morning has Romney at 23 percent to Ron Paul's 21 percent.

Santorum has jumped up to 15 percent and Gingrich the top NEO CON and Israeli Lobby pic has dropped down to 13 percent. the Candidate picked by god >>> Bachmann is down to 6 percent. LOL !!!

Maybe we should thank god that common sense is winning over the Far Right in Iowa, Here's hoping that more common sense continues to prevail among the repubs.

The Congress has always had a low approval rating. The House is far from up for grabs. The Dems will be lucky to pick up 7 seats.

    House: Very Likely GOP
    Senate: Very Likely GOP
    President: Tossup
