Yep I guess any person can do what they want. But really.....do I care that Kelly Clarkson endorses Ron Paul? No.

    What do you think?

Kelly Clarkson endorsed Dr. Ron Paul?

That's about the most clever thing passing for political speech I've yet heard from a Hollywood celeb type.

    Go Kelly!

i have never understood the reasoning behind putting creedance in the political opinions of someone who plays at make believe for his/her own living.

In the UK we`ve seen the politicians cowardly hiding behind other (non-political) professionals and letting them argue the case for controversial policies, for example, man made global warming (scientists), the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (soldiers). They know we don`t trust the political elites, so they look for groups the public does.
I fear this practice of celebrities endorsing particular political candidates is another case in point; one more step on the long road to the annexation of politics by show business.

OMFG Hollywood needs to stay right out of politics, and away from the White House.

You should never talk politics at work. That includes celebrities. Not a smart idea and can bite you in the butt. Ask the Dixie Chicks.

I don't see why celebrities shouldn't be able to endorse a candidate they like --- most people endorse someone. However, that doesn't mean that anyone needs to care who they endorse.

Well yes I guess I agree but for good business practices I would question....what is the point?

In this case, Kelly might alienate Democrats, not to mention Republicans who are not into Ron Paul...and every one else in between.

I guess there is the "YOU GO GIRL TELL IT LIKE IT IS!" group but I wonder if the negatives outweigh the positives.

If you saw how the "celebrity" manages there personal lives , you would run from any endorsement and or recommendation they made about politics and or just about any other thing.

It wasnt the Dixie Chicks as a whole. The fat one was the cunt and had to open her mouth.

If youre a celeb or any kind of porn star I do not care about or want to hear your political opinions. Including my roommate.
