Love it. Especially as a post-workout food. Know it's got "good" fat and is relatively high in protein, is "good" calories, and body builders eat it to grow. But it is still high in fat.

How many of you use it? does it work for you for lean muscle growth? & how do you use it?

Peanut butter is more of a dessert for me these days. Usually have a PBJ sandwich after a meal or something. Perfect blend of salty and sweet. Gotta have it everyday! icon_biggrin.gif Sometimes I spread it on a toasted bagel as a pre-run snack. Good source of energy.

I really like the Laura Scudders natural chunky peanut butter. Someone told me the Trader Joe's brand is good too. I think natural peanut butter has a better taste. And no hydrogenated oils is a bonus.

Pretty much the greatest thing ever made. I love it.

It has a lot of calories, yes, but you generally don't eat three cups of it.

I've found that it's a great way to fight food cravings if you're dieting. A quick spoonful of it goes a long way in keeping me satisfied.

And the fats in it help your body make testosterone and other important hormones, which in turn helps muscle growth.

People go crazy about getting natural peanut butter and stuff, but I find it tastes pretty bleh. The whopping 3 grams of sugar in a serving of Skippy isn't going to have much of an impact on your waist and I think it tastes so much better. And it has no significant levels of trans fats.

I have organic peanut butter and almond butter on hand. I eat it every day. Usually with a protein shake or if I get hungry later in the day.
