Disney World or Honolulu?

My sister and I have been talking about going on a trip in March, but the thing is we can't decide where to go. We have settled down on two places and that will be either Honolulu or Disney World. I've listed a few basics of both and hopefully you guys can chime in and help us decide what we should do.

Disney: 5 days 4 nights, 850 per person (includes theme park ticket) three hours flight.

Honolulu: 7 days 6 nights, 1100 per person, 11 hours flight (ugh!)

I've been to both and I liked both, but I just can't decide should I experience the magic of Disney or the magic of tropical paradise...

If you have other suggestions please do tell as well! icon_biggrin.gif

Since you have done both, go someplace new.

    How about Puerto Rico?

San Juan? Or should I go to other places? I'm not a very big party person though. But I just looked at the price and staying at a 4-stars hotel for five nights only cost 800 per person including flights? Very tempting icon_smile.gif

I haven't been there, but know that it's a value destination. It's also still considered travelling within the U.S.

Have you factored in the cost of local transportation? You can stay on site at DW the whole time, a million things to do, but would you be content at an Hawaiian resort for 6 nights? And where in the islands? Maui has beautiful scenery, less touristy, as perhaps you know, and maybe your resort arranges excursions to see the natural sights.

I'm going to Maui already in January in about two weeks. So if I do go in March I'll probably stick with Oahu. But the local transportation is a concern because in Orlando I won't need to drive at all.
