I think his answer was far better than Newt's to the same question

If the Repubs are smart - they'll all vote for Paul.
He can't win - but neither can Romney - and at least with Paul the Repubs can win with some measure of dignity and signal a new direction for the Repub party, away from the massive debt creation and recessions of the Reagan/Bush years.

Nominating a craven flip-flopping rich elitist creep like Mitt Romneycare will cover the Repub party with shame and make the Repubs look like shit.
Plus he's just going to lose anyway.

You do know that the one candidate Obama and the Democrats are truly frightened of is Mitt Romney...

    Now again...

Will you be video taping your meltdown on Election Night should Mitt Romney win the election? Just curious... icon_wink.gif

What makes you so convinced that the voters will pick the flip flopping Romney over Obama ? They'll keep "the devil they know, over the devil they know flip flops" any day.

Remember Obama patterned his Health care very much like Romney's when he was Governor, and it was after all a republican Idea for the sake of their Insurance Lobby funders to make the program mandatory. Funny how they all try to divorce themselves from the truth.

With Romney we'll get even more subservience to the NEO CON War effort over Iran, more subservience to the Israeli Lobby who practically run our Foreign Policy because of their money and influence. and Romney will bring even more subservience to the Corporate Lobby because after all, "Corps are People". (Corps are made up of people, yes, but this Corps are people supreme court ruling gives those CEO's, the actual people, two votes so to speak, one with their own money as an individual and one big one with the Corps money over which they have control)

Is this Romney really what the US needs ?

VOTE RON PAUL if you cannot vote for Obama, his consistent foreign policy and constitutional stands are much better for the US than the War reps.

I'm no fan of Romney's (and he probably wont be that much better than Obama, but we will have a GOP controlled house and senate to keep him in check). I'm to the point where I will vote for anyone over Obama.

I think what this country needs right now is Ron Paul and I wouldn't count him out. His $1 Trillion plan for cuts is perfect. Who says he cant win, the media (there a bunch of idiots to begin with). No one thought he could do well in the GOP Primary and look hes a top contender next week. The only reason Romney is going to get the nomination is because he's the establishments choice and they have told the liberal and conervative medias to promote him.
