conscienti1984 saidMy sister and mother no longer eat at Chick-fil-As for this very reason... they miss it though lol.
Its a stupid reason.
To you, yes, but many people like to use their money by rewarding businesses they agree with. Money is power--everything we buy is a vote in favor of the product and/or business. It's not much different from buying supplies at local shops instead of large chain stores like Wal*Mart. No one is arguing that Chick-fil-A's should not have the right to donate to anti-gay organizations.
It would be like me not doing business with any company that sends money to democrat shit. I heart cawfee and even tho its not my primary or my favorite Coffee is coffee when Im driving around and sleepy.
This isn't a democrat/republican thing--it's deeper and more specific than petty partisan politics. I do not want to support Christian evangelical fundamentalist organizations or those who support them. Some of us are idealistic. I refuse to shop at Wal*Mart for many reasons as well.
If you were to stop shopping at businesses that support the democratic/republican party that is your choice... I'm sure some radical idealogues do.
