I'm not sure if my babelfish is working.
By the thread title "You are into Asian? then I am not into You
" I'd respond with a little story about a white x-friend who I'd known to be a bit of a bigot but for years I took it simply as a sexual preference as he usually treated everyone with a great deal of respect. I didn't see how deeply his bigotry was ingrained until after years of friendship he told me that he wouldn't have sex with someone if he knew that person ever had sex with a black guy which is when I started seeing him differently.
But by this:
for2violins saidHow can I deal with guys who are saying that 'Oh I like Asian Guys'.
But you like me 'cause I am Asian? Well, it makes me feel not good.
I'd say that what people used to call courting is now called stalking. And what people used to call an attraction is now called a fetish.
Many want to be courted but hardly anyone wants to be stalked.
Most want people to be attracted to them but who wants to be fetishized?
