In many different threads, various people have referred to the legendary costume that Squarejaw has on his profile. Regrettably, while all are in agreement that the costume is adorable, there is no consensus as to whether he is supposed to be a mouse, a bear or some other cuddly and well-defined creature.

Could we have a definitive answer, sil vous plait?

Well, he claims that it is a bear costume and we liberal-minded (whoever that "we" may entail) give some breadth toward self-definition; in other words, it is a bear costume because that was SquareJaw's intention and remains his definition.

I don't see the mouse possibility as those costume ears tend to be gray on the outside and pink on the inside. The ears also lack the pointed tips that would mark a squirrel costume (even though "squirrel" and "square" are near-homonyms, which could lend credence to squirrel concept).

Whatever kind of animal he turns out to be, I'd consider him an endangered species worth protecting : )

He would make a good front-man for RJ's furry community, whoever it entails. If so, should we prepare ourselves for more animal costume'y goodness?

I hate to see a mouse lemur in such denial that it resorts to self mutilation

    Lies! Blatant Deception!

    From a very reliable source:

    How To Recognize Hamsters

Before we begin to differentiate between Hamsters, we must recognize their commonalities. First of all, all Hamsters are legendary and immortal, so that not even Rosie O'Donnel can harm them. They are vastly useful for killing tight-assed bitch-fags, like Richard Gere, the lifetime enemy of generations of hamsters.

They also love to climb inside your mother and the anuses of other females. Although not all Hamsters have the same markings, they all love female anus. So, if you come across a small furry animal and you can't tell whether it is a meerkat, gerbil, Hamster, rat or rabbit, simply drop a female's pants, position her in a crouch in front of the animal, spread her buttcheeks and imitate the Hamster greeting bark (weeechheee weeeecheeee weeeeccheee). If the animal in question lodges itself securely in her rectum, you have yourself a Hamster.

Warning: this method is extremely dangerous, for Hamsters are rather horny animals and can lodge in the wrong hole of the female, introducing many deadly things, with orgasm on top.

Dunno 'bout you, but I definitely see the uncanny resemblance.
